Journal design
A guided journal designed for women that balances just enough structure to lead, with enough openness to feel personal.

Each day moves through a quote, a reflection, a ritual, and a simple action - followed by writing prompts and space to respond. The guided section closes with a poem from the author, leaving the remaining pages open for free writing.

The Challenge
Every day had to fit into a two-page spread while balancing prompts, writing space, and illustration - without feeling crowded. Structure was needed to guide the reader, but openness to make the writing space feel inviting, not clinical.

Concept
The design direction was built around restraint — typography and spacing create the rhythm, while the writing space stays the priority on every page.
Following the same approach, the cover uses minimal typography, a refined adaptation of the author’s logo, and one central illustration.
The adapted logo was also applied to her website, keeping the branding consistent outside the journal.

Outcome
The journal launched successfully and is actively selling. Readers have shared testimonials about how much it helped them - both the concept and the design.
The client also now has a consistent visual direction that carried beyond the journal itself also the design concept became the foundation for the books that followed.
